Leaving Koh Samui

We’re leaving Koh Samui today. Fergus is heading back to Singapore, Wes is heading for Bangkok, he flies home in two days, and Roland and I are debating where to move on to.

It brings some form of closure to an emotional period in Thailand. It’s been a rollercoaster few days over here, and it may not let up for the next few days as the police investigation continues. I think I’ll stay in Thailand for a few days at least, on the off chance there’s anything else I can do to help either the police or Kath’s family.

The police seem to be making good progress here. Specialist police arrived from Bangkok three days ago and I think we’ll see real progress now that they’re on the case. They’ve certainly looked after us well while we gave our statements. They’ve made every possible effort to cause us as little inconvenience as possible, and have guaranteed that they will get Fergus to his flight home, even though he’s missed his intended bus.

I hope the police can get to the bottom of this and allow Kath’s family a sense of closure in knowing the full story of what happened to her.

my family is praying for katherine, and we are also praying for all the people pained and traumatized by a great loss caused by senseless, heartless people.

move on, sir. fly on the wings of a promise!

I never write here before because of my bad english. But I have a look often to know how you are. I didn’t know what happen last days that’s why you didn’t hear about your french family.
I met you a few month ago but it’s like I always knew you. If you need anything I will be there.
It’s hard to me to have the right word espacially in english. I just want you to know that I’m thinking of you and I love you.
    Take care,
    Fanny
