Frustrated by Apple’s interface on your iPod? Why not install Linux? Check out the iPodLinux project (new window) who provide an easy install to get Linux up and running on your iPod.
You can listen to all sorts of different types of files, view pictures on the older iPods, play more games, and all sorts of other lovely Linux things! What’s more, reset the iPod and you jump right back into its normal Apple interface. Effectively, you’ve got a dual boot iPod, now that is cool!
Beer seems to be something of a theme to this trip to Singapore. Ferg was doing his younger brotherly duty…

It doesn’t seem to matter how far you go round the world, you can never escape the weagies…

We couldn’t work out what this building was and we were in a hurry to so no time to stop and investigate, but it makes a great photo!

Last night in Singapore tonight, no doubt some more beers to be consumed!
Went to see Running Scared (new window) last night in Singapore. I don’t know that I’ve ever been that tense through a film in my life. It was ridiculous. I could literally feel the tension in my stomach, finally I thought it was over, and then there’s another twist to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Ultra violent, the body count rivals most Arnie movies, but overall, a great film. Some fantastic moments featuring a “MacDaddy pimp”!! There were a group of us and the girls enjoyed it, so it’s not just a bloke’s movie. Fergus was impressed by the “cinematography” but that sounds like film review babble to me, so I’ll keep my comments to it’s a top movie!
For those of you haven’t made it to Singapore to see Fergus in action, these snaps of him and his best bud Erik might shed some light on what he gets up to…

We finally caught up with Erik after he’d been sitting on his own for an hour or two…

Runs in the family aye!
Just stepped off the plane, walking through the airport towards the baggage claim / immigration and I couldn’t help but stop at the sign that said “Free Internet Access”. Oh yes baby, bring it on, a wee blog post before I’ve even been allowed into the country, you gotta love Singapore!
I’m just about to shut down the laptop, throw it (gently) in my bag and hit the road. Singapore be warned, I’ll be on your soil within the day!
Bangkok goodnight, Singapore good morning, and bring on the weekend!
You’d only ever see bottles of water like this in an office at home, not outside somebody’s front door. It’s the little things that make different cultures different!
