Victor and I decided to head down to Koh Pha Ngan for new year. Seemed like a good idea at the time!
After a late bus departure, a late arrival, a late check in and a late boat depature we were finally onboard the High Speed Catamaran headed for Koh Tao en-route to Koh Pha Ngan. Oh dear, it reminded me of the speed boat up the Mekhong River, somehow the fastest option always seems to be most unpleasant! The sea was choppy to say the least, there were sick bags aplenty and lots of them being used!
The we arrived on Koh Pha Ngan two days before the new year party, with nowhere to stay, good idea lads! We joined about a zillion other people searching for somewhere to stay. Finally, we found something nice, although only for 2 of our 3 nights, but it has a hot shower, air-con, and it’s a pretty nice hotel.

Aahh…trusty Crocs…never tried them myself but a lot of folk swear by them!
Have a good new year bro…bit surprised you’re down on Kho Pha Ngan but hope it all goes well.
Oh…and get one of the tasty chocolate and banana crepes from Jasmine if she still works at the crepe stand opposite the corner bar next to sunrise beach. Oh…and the Isreali place on that corner does great sandwiches too!
