From my personal experience, I dated my gf for 3 years travelling back and forward from England > Hong Kong every couple of months..it was tough! Then lived together after. She asked me to marry, we did 3 days later...I found not preparing for it and just doing it was the way to go as we didn't know what to expect. Living together is certainly an experience though and I'd recommend to all those interested in getting married, you will find each other's "pet peves" and annoyances. Congrats!
