I wanted to post to my blog from ping.fm. They offer a custom url service, but no direct support for self hosted WordPress blogs. I figured somebody had to have written a plugin. Indeed they have. Matt Jacob has written an excellent plugin. At 853 lines of code, it was a little more thatn I needed. Inspired by Matt’s work, I whipped up a much simpler, much cruder, much less powerful plugin. This plugin is a mere 89 lines and was written entirely in vim in one quick session. This plugin is a mere 106 lines of code and was written in two quick sessions.

It may be bug filled, burn your house down, etc. Use at your own risk.
