that truly is very cool. We’re in Phoenix for another 10 days or so and then we leave for Tombstone for 2 days and then into Texas. Heading to Corpus Christi for about Feb 2. Will be there about a month

Thanks for the link. I’m not at 500 yet, I’ll keep the limit in mind. It might be that the map is too complex for IE, but I doubt it, there’s not much data yet.

I think there’s a bug that’s caused in IE. Not sure why or what, I’ll try to debug in time. Doesn’t work on Chrome either, at least I have chrome installed so hopefully I can pin down and resolve that error.

Good suggestion, I'll add an index at some point. If you want to do something like this on your phone check out mapme.at linked to fireeagle, I think that will work.

You should have a legend to tell that what is that blue pin, green pin and what is the red line, blue line… otherwise, i am confusing where you are at! haha

Fullscreen doesn’t work in IE6 – again a blank page.

Nice job in theory mon frere…unfortunately no map for me either. Tried refreshing a couple of times, and restarting my browser. Also no map on the fullscreen version.

Both times I get a blank screen, no error message. The source code shows that a map should be there.

It could be that I might be running a dev build of Chrome. I installed a dev build a few months ago cause they had released plugins for it, but now I think that the normal build is up to version 4 as well. I’m running 4.0.237.0 if that helps.

Just checked on IE6 – def a Chrome issue, works after a refresh on IE6.

Just tried and it works fine in Firefox. I’ve never had a problem with ie8 and google maps and OpenStreetMap seems to work too.

I’ve got the same issues as James. Using ie8 the map doesn’t appear at all or if it does it takes ages to appear. There is also an ‘error on page’ notification at the bottom of the page.

Aha. So an ‘ok’ message tells everyone that you are still alive/all ok – cool! The browser was at work – IE, not sure what version. Works better at home on firefox. JC.

The spot has a few modes. The one I use most is tracking mode where it tries to send my location every 10 minutes. Then I can send an OK check in message or a custom message, which I’m using as a notable point message.

Which browser are you using? I’m curious about the “errors on page” message you got. Do you have any more info?
