I have mobilevikings.be, which is 50 cent/MB – http://guaka.org/mobile for referral, it’s only nice if you already have another Belgian SIM though.
In Germany I got a blau.de which is 5 euro for 50 MB for one week EU data roaming, which seems pretty good.
France is probably the worst country to get a SIM card. But let me know if you find a good deal there. Where will you be in France? Do drop by in BXL!

Pricing is here. Roaming rates at the bottom. Not awesome. In the EU 11p/minute to receive, 35p/minute to call, 10p to text, £1.50 per MB for data, ouch! Which sim did you get for EU roaming? I'll be in France 2 weeks next month, wonder if I'd be better with a number I can use all over the EU?

Unless their EU roaming rates are somewhat interesting. Can’t quickly find them on their site though.

Been a while since I read his stuff. He’s definitely saying some interesting things. I’ve since read some criticisms which seem to say that he presents ideas as facts and gives a very biased case. I take his work with a pinch of salt since. Nice to hear from you Rob, hope you’re doing well.

btw, I *listened* to Outliers. You were right. Great. I’m not sure Malcolm could write a bad book. He speaks my language, and arranges his info in a way that really draws me in.

I love mind mapping.I have book marked this link.I dropping by to read the posts and now am currently reading the book How to Mind Map by Tony Buzan.It is an interesting book and i sought for it on the net and downloaded it and backed it up onlline with safecopy backup on my mother’s account.I have kept it there for any family member of mine to read.

Callum, I’ve just started reading (and will likely very soon finish) /Rich Dad, Poor Dad/. I’ve had ideas along these lines before, but I feel as though it’s really helping me think lucidly about money.

@Rob - Former Fat Guy: I have just read Outliers, it's also a great book. Another excellent work from Gladwell. In a slightly different veign to his others, it perhaps doesn't help us interact with the world more easily, but does help us understand it I think.

hi, i loved the mindmapping stuff – there is a fair amount of serious research about it as well as several groups doing a fair amount of development. Some have been using touchgraph technology for mapping eg ceryle – i have a copy of the beta since it has been abandoned (guy was writing his thesis and gave up – life bit him hard)

Also there are a number of programs out there to help with creating the maps. eg Axon (commerial – i like but well beyond my means), freemind (freeware but somewhat limited), CMAP Tools (free – this is the one i like best)
Inkscape: a painting/drawing program that can do something similar.
A number of writing programs include mindmapping.
