    An interface to create jobs on Amazon Mechanical Turk (jobs are called HIT, Human Intelligence Tasks). Provides tools to enhance the functionality of mturk. Unsure of pricing model.

    Crowdfunding business in the UK. Similar to KickStarter, but focused on actually buying equity rather than a finished product. Seems a lot less polished and much smaller scale that kickstarter.

    Crowdsourced volunteering for non profits. Interesting idea about driving value from small amounts of time, crowdsourced.

    Design and photoshopping or photochopping competitions.

    Open source project that allows people to crowdsource news / crisis information. Send updates by sms, email, online, etc. Citizen journalism.
